Set up and look after many client domains from one workspace: paste a list, label each domain with its client, and send a setup link to whoever holds the DNS.
You build and run sites for clients, and every site needs the client's domain pointed at it. Often the client holds the DNS login, not you. CustomDomain™ keeps those domains in one workspace, says which client each one belongs to and what is left to do, and lets the person who has the DNS finish a domain without an account.
When this fits
- You manage domains for several clients, or a lot of domains of your own.
- The DNS for a domain is often at an account you cannot sign in to.
- You want one list of every client domain with its status, not a spreadsheet.
If you run a product whose users connect their own domains inside it, see SaaS platforms instead.
How CustomDomain™ fits in
- The console is laid out for it. The welcome screen asks who you are connecting domains for. Pick My clients and the console is arranged around your domains. Owners and admins can change the answer later in Settings. See Console.
- Add many at once, with whose they are. Paste a column from a spreadsheet, a list of addresses or links, up to 200 at a time, with a client's name beside each domain. Adding puts the domains in the workspace, each waiting for its records; you then finish each one. The client's name is set when the domain is added. See Many domains, and whose they are.
- Hand the DNS step to the client. A setup link for one domain lets whoever opens it finish that domain with no account; nobody is invited. It works once and lasts 30 days. See A link for the client.
- Or connect the provider account once. When you hold a client's DNS provider key, connect it as a provider account for some or all of its domains, with one time or continuous access. At providers whose API lists an account's domains, the console offers to connect the account's other domains in one step (bulk connect).
- See what needs you. Domains filters by client, orders by what needs attention, and exports exactly the rows shown as CSV.
A new workspace connects its first ten domains without a card, and the rest once the 14 day free trial has started. See Plans & quotas.

SaaS platforms
Let your users connect a domain they already own inside your product: embed the widget, mint tokens on your server, and serve every customer domain.
Your own domain
Point a domain you own at something you run, with no code: connect it in the console, add or authorize the DNS records, and get HTTPS issued and renewed.
