# Deprovision a connection's certificate (drop the mirror, stop managing)

## `DELETE https://api.customdomain.ai/v1/connections/{id}/ssl`

Drops the mirror row and clears `secure_root_domain`; the edge stops managing the certificate on its next reconcile. A row another application tracks for the same domain is left in place.
